What time does a Gamasa trip leave?

Most groups leave between 7 and 9 in the morning and are back before sunset. The drive is about an hour, so the day is spent at the sea rather than on the road. You set the time and we keep it.

Does Alexandria work as a day trip?

It does with an early start — about three hours each way via Tanta. If you want longer at the coast, an overnight is more comfortable.

We are 18 people — which size?

A 14-seat HiAce is too small, and a 28–33 midibus leaves empty seats you would be paying for. A 21–25 Coaster is the size for that number — the newer model has 21 seats, so 18 sit comfortably.

What does the price include?

In the price: the vehicle, the driver, fuel, road tolls and parking, and the driver waiting with you until the agreed return time. Outside it: time beyond the return time, any change to the route or timings on the day, and the entrance fee of anywhere you go in — a beach, a club or a museum.

Can we stop on the way?

Yes, stops are part of the trip. Tell us at the start so they are in the timing.

Do we have to leave from Mansoura?

No. We depart from any district in Dakahlia — Dekernes, Sinbillawin, Mit Ghamr, Sherbin, Aga — or call at more than one pickup point along the way.

Is a trip priced per person or per vehicle?

Per vehicle for the day — there are no tickets or single seats. If you are one or two people this is not the service for you. For a group — family, friends or colleagues — send us the headcount (children included; every child counts as a seat), destination and date and we reply with a quote within the day; a HiAce is hired whole even for fewer than 14.

The single-day trip is the most requested journey out of Mansoura. The sea is close: Gamasa and Ras El Bar are about an hour, so you leave in the morning and are back at night with no overnight stay and no hotel cost.

Longer runs still work in a day if you start early: Alexandria is about 170 km via Tanta — three hours — and Ain Sokhna, about three and a half hours away, is a there-and-back day in the same vehicle. Cairo is about 120 km and two hours.

Choosing the vehicle size for a day trip

Headcount decides: up to 14 a HiAce, 15 to 25 a Coaster, 26 to 33 a midibus, and 34 to 49 a coach, or 50 with no guide or group leader on board. If the number falls between two sizes, the larger is more comfortable and usually cheaper than two vehicles.

The driver stays with you, and waiting is included within the day's agreed hours, with extra hours charged — so tell us at the start your departure and return times and any stops you want, so they are in the timing.

A same-day return, with the vehicle waiting, is the cheapest way to make the trip. If you stay overnight and come back another day, the vehicle either stays with you, with each night charged on its own, or goes back and comes again, which makes it two transfers.
