Marsa Matrouh → Siwa·About 300 km across the desert, and the only road in. Fuel stations on it are very few, so the vehicle fills up in Matrouh

Questions we are asked about Siwa Oasis
- How does a Siwa trip work?
- The vehicle collects you in your city, drives you to Siwa and drops everyone at their hotel, takes you round the sights in the oasis to your programme, then brings you back to your city.
- How many days is the trip?
- Several days, and you choose how many. The route and the driver's overnight are agreed up front and written into the quote.
- Do we need papers on the road to Siwa?
- Yes, ID, because there are checkpoints on the Matrouh–Siwa road. Foreign passengers need their passports.
- Can I book a seat on a Siwa trip?
- No — there are no individual seats: we rent the whole vehicle with its driver to a group, the smallest being a HiAce for up to 14. Gather your group and send us the headcount and the days.
